Before or after?

I was about to post about how wonderful digital technology is and how glad I am that I could use my computer to correct this embarrassing exposure mistake I made with my camera. But then my husband said he likes the "before" version better! Now I'm so confused. Am I nuts? Which one's better?

Edit: Thanks for all the responses here and on Facebook, Flickr, and Pinterest! The "after" version is now in my Etsy shop! :)

Nothing embarrassing about it....I love the texture of the clouds, and the contrast of the dark gray on the wings more in the "Before"...but like the "vintage" feel of the "After"....why not create a third for a triptych? ;) ....while I may like the "Before", ultimately, your eye wins! Good Luck! Sleep on it....a few days.....crzymnd

That is the beauty of subjectivity :)

We can LOVE them both :)

Have a lovely Tuesday, cheers, T. :)

I like them both, but the one I like the best is the second one. I like lighter feel that is has. The first one seems heavier with the darker colors. The lighter image gives you an immediate sense of flight.

Nice image : )

I like them both, but the softness of picture number two pulls me in.

A lot of times when I can't decide on a photo. I walk away from the computer for at least 15 minutes. Then I open both pictures at the same time, which one do I go to first...

Nice Job!
