unholy week

So, clearly I failed miserably at "blogging for Lent." It wasn't one of my best ideas, I have to say. I've amassed a huge list of blog ideas that should be explored and recorded, but actually doing it seems like work. So when I contemplate trying to write, all I can think of is how I have so much "real" work to do, so if I'm going to feel like I'm working, I may as well do something school related. Pathetic, I know. As if dedication to discipleship is less productive? I'm rather ashamed of my failure. I suck.

But then again, I guess that's the point. I suck, and that's why I need Jesus. And that's why I'm thankful for the resurrection.

Happy Easter.

I'm glad that you turned yourself around... I was getting worried for a minute there, reading and thinking... "She does NOT suck. She is an intelligent woman of God who strives to do the best she can..." So, I'm glad that you had a "lesson" at the end to wrap up your Lent experience with a shiny ribbon!

Here is a quote I picked up from church today...

"Your faith is not futile, your failures are not fatal, and your death is not final!"

Happy Easter!
