March has been so cold

but thanks to the azaleas

it appears quite warm

the iris is the

colorful part of my eyes

(and of my back yard)

"open" is the word 

that describes my heart these days

I love bright colors

black and white or in color--

make me feel relaxed

seem to be saying to me

"everything's okay"

some people can knit

but I am content simply

to photograph yarn

ugly things

sometimes, ugly things--

if you look at them just right--

are almost pretty

jazzing it up

live new orleans jazz

looks better in black and white

(but SOUNDS colorful)

wishes

it's both a fountain

and, yes, a dandelion,
